Dr Tony Palframan and Dr Dr. Sidha Sambandan
The duty of GP Tutors in the East of England is to promote and support Continuing Professional Development for GPs in the widest sense in their areas.
In particular, Tony Palframan provides the following:
- Leads a self directed learning group for non-principals and new principals.
- iMAP lead for the East Anglia Faculty RCGP
- Appraisal steering group member and member East Anglian group - provide leadership and mentoring.
- In particular, Sidha Sambandan provides the following:
- Minor surgery courses for GPs and VTS Registrars
- Joint & Soft tissue Injection courses for GPs and other healthcare professionals
- The Annual 4 day Spring GP Refresher Course for GPs at NANIME (Usually in May)
- Musculo-skeletal Medicine courses.
- Helping doctors on performance issues
- Advice on Stress/Burnout in healthcare professionals.
